Loved Saturday's game, finished by jumping off the couch for the winning run. Followed it with a lovely date with Mrs. MM. Started feeling a little under the weather during the date, figured I'd just turn in early and head off whatever it was.

This is the first I've been out of bed since. Woke up Sunday with a 104 fever, got diagnosed with the flu.

Game three was just one of those games, but I'm confident we never would have let yesterday slip away if I were anywhere near 100%.

Please send thoughts, prayers, antivirals, chicken soup, or whatever works my way ASAP so we can pound the Yankees today.

Sorry MM, but I'm going to have to take the blame here. My record for in-person attendance this year is dismal, including the last two debacles. I have a ticket for tonight, but am going to sit it out for everyone's benefit.

I’m pretty sure it was me. I watched the first 5 innings, had to take a break then started again in the bottom of the 7th.  I missed all of the Astros good play and caught all of the Yanks pounding the BP.  I feel so dirty.
