The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

failing to score a run after a lead off triple would not be ideal, yet here we are with two outs and the runner still on third.

My only guess is he didn't think it would be so crazy of a throw.  But I had expected him to be on third.
