 That sucked.

Reddick had 2 hits and won't be able to sleep tonight because of 2 plays in RF.

Fuck the BoSox.

Afternoon game tomorrow.  That sucks.

Depends on Yankees/Indians tonight, right?

Most disappointing to me is that we needed one game and they were throwing Fister.  Couldn't get it done.

Hindsight etc., but I wish Hinch had stuck with Peacock a little longer. He’d struck out the first two batters before giving up the doubles. During the regular season, down the stretch, he was criticized often on this board for failing to manage with a sense of urgency, but I felt like we could’ve used some more regular season-style management right then.

Disagree. Peacock was hit hard the entire time.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Correct. Indians win, we play at 6, Yankees win, we play at noon

Keith Hernandez and Frank Thomas just agreed with you on the post-mortem.

Saw that. ARod too. Turned it off.

It also seems like stranding runners has not been a particular strength of this bullpen, which perhaps has something to do with the fact that they’re all recently converted starters.

Trying to make 3 runs stand up over 9 innings is tough.

The offense was stymied.  The bullpen didn't implode until after Peacock would have been gone.

(This is not to excuse Liriano's failure)

What failure? Throwing a slider for a strike the guy hit out? Miracle swing.

Peacock did not have his magic today. Get ‘em tomorrow.

Fair enough.  I was listening on the radio.  My main point was lifting Peacock wasn't a disaster,  to whit it was a 1 run game until the bottom fell out late.

And yes.  Wash the stink off,  tip your cap and kick some ass tmw.

No shit. The Astros have played the Sox seven straight games. They've won five. Tomorrow's another day, gotta dust yourself off and get ready to play.

Talk to das.  There's an almost guarantee of rain tomorrow, how heavy and when, and when it lets up...?

I'm praying for an evening start.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

Well, we had about as pleasant an experience as one could have hoped, given the outcome. If anyone catches the sports segments on channel 11 tonight, good chance my crew will make a cameo.

Ever notice how whenever Biz takes his clan to a game shit goes tits up? Wouldn't it be better to just stay home and watch reruns of the Duggars?

I'm starting to think there may be truth to this. The wife, baby and I saw them beat the Yankees earlier this year, so have narrowed the problem to one of the other three.

This is playoff baseball, folks. We are not going to win every game.
