Yeah.

Tribe scares the shit out of me.

With good reason. They almost won it all last year and now they’re healthy.

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Healthy is a relative term, but they're definitely possessed/relentlessly competent/over losing.

0-4 Subcontinentals.  It's the top of the 8th, two outs, Judge is facing  Allen with two on, first and second. Judge strikes out.  it's very satisfying.

Judge with the golden sombrero tonight. I was glad to see the Yankees break up the no hitter because I didn't want to see the MV3 Altuve's night upstaged.

If the 'Stros get through the Red Sox, then we can agonize about the Native Americans of Cleveland.

Somewhere, deep in the jungles of Sumatra, or in MMP, Hudson is boiling over after that shift.

Who is gonna break the news to HH that he cant watch any games in this series?

HH watched the game three rows behind Bagwell and Biggio courtesy of bleach. So did I.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Well dang, I thought he was hard at work and couldn't even get scores or something... what a great game to see.

Not that corn consumption is exclusive to the Midwest, but Bruce is from Beaumont, so the trope is more likely to be "built like timber from the piney woods of east Texas" or "a roughneck from the old oilfields in the golden triangle." DarkStar could do much better elaborating on these generalities.

That would be "built like the wood rising in Dark Star's pants as he lays down gently on the pine straw with his glistening, nubile young muse."
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

When Jim invited me, he reminded me that the matchup was Verlander v Sale, and no job was worth missing that.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Good for you, slacking off from work for sporting events is a great Aussie tradition too.
