Gotta keep pace boys...
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Well, just when we seem to have figured out Cano, we now have Moncada to worry about. I'm all for not pitching to him for the rest of the series.

Liriano outstanding again. I read the catchers are setting the target in the middle of the plate now rather than on the corners and that has made a difference.

Runner on 3B, one out...he flails at a pitch, hits a soft liner that SS booted to plate a run.  Next pitch, gets picked off of 1B, but the throw goes into RF, and he moves to 3B

What happened?

A classic Altuve-bailing-out-throws-his-bat-at-the-ball-and-hits-it swing that went right to the drawn-in shortstop who kicked it. Then he's caught leaning off of first base but the catcher throws the ball into RF. He should have been out twice.

I can't watch the Astro games on MLB TV until I get my DNS issue worked out. Maybe I should have waited to cancel Direct TV until I knew that I had that working. Dammit.

T8:

Gregerson in...

Anderson hits one back up the middle...off of Gregersons arm...fields it but can't get the runner...infield hit

Trainer and Hinch out to look at LG44...I guess all is ok, he's going to continue

Davidson flies out F8
Brantly, pinch hitting for Engel...full count...strikes out swinging, as Anderson steals 2B..perfect throw from Gattis, but LG too slow to the plate

So that's all for Gregerson, Musgrove in

Sanchez doubles down RF line on the first pitch, Anderson scores
Wild pitch, Sanchez to 3B
Moncada strikes out swinging

4-3 Astros

Well, my internet here in the jungle keeps going in and out....I had a B8 post all done, but...at any rate, the Astros didn't score, despite Yuli with another hit.  To the 9th...Astros up 4-3

Honestly, I'd rather carry an extra pitcher. Fisher is a waste of a postseason roster spot IMHO

T9:

Musgrove still in...

Abreu grounds out 3-1
Delmonico chops one over the mound...with the shift on, Altuve is in RF...Correa comes in from behind 2B to field it, but has no play...infield single
Hanson grounds into FC...Delmonico out 3-6 at 2B...Musgrove with a nice kick save, but no out at 1B
Hanson steals 2B...Centeno didn't get off much of a throw
Narvaez...0-2...1-2...2-2...strikes out swinging

Astros win!!!

Had a great time at the game last night. I came away with the overwhelming impression that the Astros did not so much win the game as accept the Sox' repeated efforts to give it to them. Chicago's fielding was terrible, especially on Abreu's "effort" on the double down the line.

Although he looks a little dinged up over at third right now.

We were sitting right at third base and Altuve was definitely wincing, limping, and stretching out his groin.  He looked very uncomfortable.
