He then more or less gave in to the free swinging Gomez. Just a really bad plan that run through the order.

Napoli was 1-27 or 28 and hit a 2 strike pitch. The pitch to Gomez  was middle in. Ball four to Gallo was the same pitch which was strike 3 to Choo, but he cannot leave the pitch to the discretion of the umpire. The 2-2 was not close.
