Astros don't score
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Correa...down 0-2...works the count full...takes a hanging curve right down the middle for strike three
McCann lines one off the RCF wall...the ball bounces around, right fielder casually picks it up and lobs it in to 2B as McCann just sneaks in for a sliding double
Gattis pops out to 1B
Gurriel flies out to shallow RF

Aoki...3-0...3-1...3-2...slaps a single to LF...number 1,998 in his professional career...

With Altuve at the plate, Hammel balks...Aoki scores, Reddick to 2B
Altuve flies out to shallow CF
Correa rolls an easy groundball to 2B...yells "FUCK" down the line

But the Astros get off the schneid...1-0 good guys

Christian Pulisic has outscored the Astros tonight.

I assume you were only referring to keeping his pitch count down to 71 thru 6. Nothing else to see here...

It's good that LMJ is keeping his pitch count down. The more innings he can go the better for the over-taxed bullpen.

Altuve!!!

3-1 Astros

Cain did a nice job of turning that single into a triple.

T9:

Herrera in...

Reddick...3-0...draws a four pitch walk
Altuve homers to CF
Correa triples to LCF...Cain did not read that well
McCann with a sac fly to CF, Correa scores
Gattis singles to LF

And that's it for Herrera...Moylan in

Gurriel double down RF line, Gattis to 3B...Astros hit for the cycle in the inning
Bregman walks
Marisnick, who came in to play CF batting in Aoki's spot...singles to RF, Gattis scores, Gurriel scores, Bregman to 2B
Springer grounds up the middle...Merrifield bobbles it, but nips Marisnick at 2B...score it a FC, Jake out 4-6.  Bregman moves to 3B
Reddick, batting for the second time in the inning...strikes out swinging

To the bottom of the 9th...Astros up 6-1

Jason Castro just put a sweet swing on a pitch to give MN an early lead over the surging seahags.

It's the only game on....

What happed to the vaunted offense?

Incredible sarcastic comment. How many had they scored on this trip prior to your comment?

Should not have been pulled, IMO.

He gave us 7 innings on only 91 pitches. He saved the pen tonight, but given he's the only reliable starter we have right now, saving him is important too.

This. I had zero problem with it, especially because the 7th was a high stress inning.

Just finished watched the Condensed Game, a few observations:

1.) Correa's relay throw on the triple was pretty terrible. If he'dve put that throw on the money, they'dve had a shot at Cain.

2.) Those cream sickle orange batting gloves are ugggggggggggggggggly.

3.) The only great thing about Springer striking out is seeing the faces he makes on the slo-mo replays. They are fucking hilarious.

4.) We picked a guy up last night to fill in on our softball team that looked eerily like Hunter Pence. Not early Astro Thunderpants, but early Giants Pence, before he started looking like a douchebag Holistic Wellness Center Shaman. He also ran like his hair was on fire, so the comparison was pretty spot on.
