Alright boys...enough of this shit.  Let's go out and kick the shit out of 'em!
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Correa doubles down the LF line ON THE FIRST PITCH!  Springer comes all the way around to score from 1B

And that was after strike one was a fastball above the letters.

Shiner Homespun Cream Ale.  On this GORGEOUS day!
I wish they would go back to brewing beer. All this fufu stuff is getting old. If anyone has been spared the Strawberry Blonde, consider yourself lucky.

B7:

Hendricks in for the A's...

Springer grounds out 4-3 on the first pitch
Reddick flies out F9
Altuve strikes out swinging

4-0 Astros

Keuchel having to work a lot harder this inning.

Nibbling with a 4 run lead.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Nibbling with a 4 run lead.

I can understand being careful with Davis, but the nibbling with the other guys was puzzling.

Even then, you got a four run lead.  Make him hit his way on.

Reports I hear are sweet and frufru. On the back of a few other regrettably sweet and un-beer like offerings, I have stayed away.

The Golden Ale is very nice, though.

Gregerson comes in and allows a stolen base, throws a wild pitch and issues a 4-pitch walk

RBI single by Healy, and that brings Khris Davis to the plate representing the tying run...

I don't think it's sweet at all.  In fact, it's less sweet than their normal beers...it is an ale after all.  Of course, it's not like drinking quinine, which seems to be the rage these days.

B8:

Correa singles up the middle
McCann...full count...walks, Correa to 2B
Gurriel strikes out swinging
Gattis pops out F4...infield fly rule in effect
Wildl pitch...Correa to 3B, McCann to 2B

Aoki...taps one up the 1B line...ruled it hit his foot...not sure why, it didn't come within 5 feet of him...umps confer...yep, they get it right...fair ball, score it 3U

But the Astros tack on...lead 7-1 headed to the 9th

I don't do "quinine" and I do like a nice Belgian dubbel or trippel, so maybe the reports I get on this one are leading me astray. Or maybe I am growing sceptical of their novelty offerings.

Take away the head to head games last year, and the Astros and Rangers had the exact same record against the rest of the league.  How well they play against the Rangers is HUGE...or YUGE even.

Exactly. I still think the al west is going to come down to Astros vs rangers. Though I'd love if Arlington would hurry themselves early
