The bigger change appears to be that the 15-day DL is now the 10-day DL.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Another overdue change to the CBA, beginning in 2018, games will have to start earlier on getaway days if either team has longer than a 2 1/2 hour flight to reach their next destination.  Teams also won't be allowed to schedule afternoon games if  their opponent had a night game the day before.  This will affect Houston as much as any team, since Arlington, St. Louis, KC, and Atlanta are the only cities under 2 1/2 hours (Chicago's right there).
