Annual Bloodletting

I hear that the Snakes fired GM Dave Stewart and manager Chip Hale, yet LaRussa comes out unscathed? Walt Weiss, whose contract expired, is out in Denver. Robin Ventura has already been replaced by Rich Renteria. Who am I missing? Who's next?

Scathed. Demoted and will no longer head baseball operations. Apparently he's deciding whether or not to stay on in a reduced role.

I commend the ownership there for pretty quickly recognizing how "not well" things were going under his direction.

It's almost like he was asleep at the wheel.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.
