Very nice job by McHugh to finish top of first.  Go Astros!

One thing I'm noticing about Altuve during his slump is he's swinging early and not really working the count much at all.

Freaking Castro. Way to go man, swing at the first one after he just walked two in a row.

All of Lackey's bitching bought him strike three against Marisnick. Go ahead and act like a spoiled little shit, McHugh.

That was definitely outside the zone. Either the ump decided he owed him one or he wanted the prick off of his back. Or he just blew it.

Hinch didn't want him in today because of the early game but maybe tomorrow night.

Jesus Christ, Springer. You had an easy assist on that one if you got it anywhere NEAR home. What a dogshit throw from shallow right.

This is fucking unwatchable.

Also, how many caught stealings does it take to realize the Cubs catchers have good arms?

This just in.

The Rangers kick the Astros ass because Ken Giles might've said something disparaging about how good the Rangers were earlier this year.

Jesus Christ, I miss Ashby.

There could be no other reason. Clearly the Rangers are tied to their phones waiting for the latest Twitter update from Ken fucking Giles.

why is it news that the bottom of the Astros lineup is not as good as the top of the order? Isn't that the way most clubs are?
Smoltz has brought that up twice now.

This broadcast is awful.

No pitch tracking at all, and all we get is John Smoltz schlobbing Cub Pitcher knob when pitches are close.

I didn't think Fox could get worse at broadcasting baseball, and I was WRONG.

Leaving the game today, there was a ten-year old boy decked out full Cubs crying his eyes out. It was the best thing I've seen this season.

You are counting Appel as an entire player?
