Kluber gave Correa a perfect pitch to go to RF with, and he passed it up, waiting for the opportunity to flail at a low outside slider instead. Which was only the second worst AB of the inning after Gurriel's flailing misery.

I think Springer must have thought that last pitch was going to be the slider that breaks out of the zone. When it turned out to be the fastball that stayed on the outside corner, he was doomed.

He's looks to battle with two pitches, but they are damn good with top notch command. Reminds me of Musgrove in his first few appearances.

I think Giles will be just fine. Gattis meeds a lot of work on preventing passed balls and wild pitches. If Castro is healthy, he needs to come in for defensive purposes in situations like this.
