Fister sets them down 1-2-3 in the first with a couple of flyouts and something else I missed when the wife beckoned.

Paxton puts the Astros down 1-2-3 in the second. Gomez hit the ball hard but lined out to 3rd. I wish the Astros had a southpaw SP that threw like Paxton. I did a Similarity Search for him and the #1 comp was JA Happ.

Fister gets out of the 2nd with a K after allowing a single to the talented Seager from the Silver Bullet Band.

Marisnick nearly decaps Paxton with a line single up the middle. One on, no outs, Castro up.

Line drive single by Castro to LF puts runners first and second. Springer hits first pitch to SS who bobbles a DP chance but gets the force at 2b. Runners on the corners with one down.

Inning fizzles with a 5-4-3 DP hit into by Marwin.  Where is everybody? It's not football season yet.

Friday night, I assume a number will be passed out drunk by now?

Late game so I am tea-totaling or I would not make it.

3 up 3 down for Fister as he gives up a  2-out 2b to Marte who is out trying to stretch it to 3rd. Called out on the replay after appearing to be safe. Valbuena placed the tag right on his coconut as he slid in. Marte also seemed to be shaken a bit. Gomez made the nice throw.

Very well done, I thought the runner was safe after every replay, until the slow motion view.

Gomez did not take the most efficient route to that ball that Marte hit. Marisnick catches it.
