Frito pie #1 down the gullet. Colby jack cheese and chili made with some brisket I smoked. Was delicious! #2 will for dinner will involve Hormel chili and some "showboating" jalapeños.

You may have to settle for Olde English 800.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

I can't find that, either. You would think that anything that comes in a large bottle would be popular here. I can find the tiny bottles of Corona just fine. Those make no sense to me on any number of levels.

It wasn't exactly effective, in any sense. I wasn't able to get very far into it before Davis dispatched us, maybe the magic is in the bottom?

I would recommend buying two, though. You'll need the first one to make the second one taste good.

The Statesman published El Real's chili recipe today, straight from Walsh's new cookbook.  I hope  this will come in handy in the future.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

After my noon meeting, I went for a second lunch at Avalon Diner. It's the best I can do.

Can't get it on a menu in Charlotte, but I took a bag of Doritos to a good place with shitty Cincy chili and made my three friends (a Mets fan and two who don't care about baseball) and our waiter all eat it with me. I hope that works. I am typing this from the bathroom.
Yay.

I went back to the Armadillo Palace today for a venison Frito pie.

I noticed the other day that Dairy Queen has a crunchy Frito chili cheese Hungr-buster. There must be bonus points for that.

Couldn't find an Colt 45 Malt Liquor but i did find all the letter and numbers on a bottle of Real Ale Brewing Company's Lost Gold.  Just laid a bed of Fritos brand corn chips in a bowl, covered 'em with Wolf Brand Chili, sharp cheddar, chopped onions, and a daub of sour cream.

Of what I was able to find Night Train was the closest in spirit to Colt 45. And no, I didn't buy any. I'm just not that invested in the Astros anymore.
