How is that possible?  The managers are still talking to the umpires.

Is it too late to get a few bucks on the mighty fighting hawks to win the AFL flag?

Hey, Jose scores but that was probably 10 minutes ago.

McHugh gives up a lead off double, but renders it moot with two strikeouts and a fly to right.

Carter doubles down LF line
Tucker lines one to RF, Carter tags and is gunned down on a fucking laser from Brito, score it 9-5
Castro lines to RF, and Brito makes another nice play.

1-0 Astros

Altuve with a lead-off double. How many hits is that?

196. And they've been cutting out of MLB Network to show the Sherzer no-no - damn filthy/dominant those last 3 innings (and struck out the entire line-up swinging on their 3rd time through).

Delgado on the mound...

Marisnick, who came on for Tucker, doubles to LF
Castro singles to RF, Marisnick scores

Springer walks
Springer steals 2B
Correa...down 0-2...works the count full...strikes out swinging

A catcher shouldn't get in the ump's face and start bitching with a lead in the 8th.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

T8:

Reynolds on the mound for the Snakes

Rasmus homers to RCF

That's it for Reynolds, Hernandez in

Lowrie, pinch hitting for Valbuena...walks
Carter bounces back to the mound, but the pitcher can grab it clean, can only go to 1B as Lowrie moves to 2B
Marisnick strikes out swinging, but strike three goes to the screen on a passed ball, Marisnick reaches, Lowrie to 3B
Marisnick steals 2B
Castro strikes out looking, bitching at ump for no reason
Gattis, pinch hitting for McHugh...hit by pitch to load the bases
Altuve hit by pitch on the hand...Hale challenging...upheld, Lowrie scores, Marisnick to 3B, Gattis to 2B

Hernandez out, Collmenter in

Springer strikes out swinging

Astros leave the bases loaded, but pick up a pair...lead 6-1

I do not have cable so I'll be streaming those games. The streaming issues lately have me worried about watching playoff games not explicitly involv.... Fuck it. I fucked up.

Huge win

Guaranteed extra baseball.  Also makes the Rangers and Angels have to battle tomorrow.  Not to mention the Orioles beat the Yankees today.

Alright, here we go. One more game to go, time to put the hammer down.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

C'mon  Rick has no power here.. only Charles has the power

You folks better start paying attention. You're not noticing what sacrifices have been working and relying on old stuff that no longer works. It's like saying Neil should eat some Filet Mignon or fried chicken for lunch tomorrow. Go ahead... mess with the streak, why doncha.

Never fuck with a winning streak.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Meaningful baseball in October.. nothing better.  Take it to those posers from Dallas!

Great win tonight.

Win the game and maybe the division tomorrow!
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

My birthday is on the 17th, the best present for me would be to have a game to watch.

I was thinking how ridiculous the swimming pool is, but then it occurred to me that if Drayton had thought of one, he would have put it in play somewhere in the outfield.

Dell Diamond has one.

Sweet Sue. Or whatever Southwest Texas is known as these days. Those guys always play UT tough, and everybody else, too. It's not like they're some program full of useless players.
At the time our most notable MLB'er was Scott Linebrink. Southland conference schools always get the shaft.
