Chris Johnson?!?  Robothal Tweet LINK

Source: Prado in deal. The trade, as reported by @mlbbowman: Upton, Johnson from #Diamondbacks to #Braves for Prado, Delgado, Ahmed, Spruill
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Oh, and it's nice to see that the Rangers continue to whiff. Hopefully it's collusion, and Ryan has pissed off everyone else so they're stonewalling him. A boy can dream.

I can't figure that deal out. Was CJ just a throwin?

I guess the Braves don't have a 3B in the minors.

Atlanta appears to be serious about winning this year. If that is the case, Johnson will see very little playing time in the majors.

Good job the Astros don't play them, then.

And in the future.  They didn't even give up any of their top prospect arms.

He's even more pissed at the Hooters renovations than I thought.

He's got more in the tank than Rolen does. Why not come back for ten million or so?

I think Prado was going to take that role.  Juan Francisco would've been next on their list but he gets absolutely raped by southpaws.  I guess it'll be a platoon situation even though CJ doesn't exactly light the world up against them either.

Prado was the 3B if Bourn was the CF, so that makes sense that he'd be there with Upton on the team.

That's MLB.com's guess:

Once it became apparent the versatile Prado would be included, the Braves needed to get Johnson, who will likely share time with Juan Francisco at third base and strengthen the Braves' bench.
