Got my tickets today.  Somehow a midnight showing on Sunday (IMAX/3D) was almost completely booked.

The new iPic in the Galleria has added through-the-night showings on Thursday and Friday - which are mostly booked out, except for the walleye seats at the front.

I'm going Friday night.  Mild spoilers are starting to appear in mainstream reviews, so full-on spoilers will be rife in the next few days.  Best not to wait too long as you might get the whole thing spoiled by accident.

Don't worry, there's a Chrome extension for that.

What a great Chrome extension...    I will have my head in my work for the next couple days but can always use a little help avoiding the dicks who spoil it for the rest of us tomorrow night..

I have been catching the wife up this week. We just finished Empire tonight. I was hoping to snag a pair for Wednesday (we're taking a mini-vaction from Saturday morning till Tuesday night), but she claims she has too much to do. So now I may pick up a single tomorrow afternoon if I feel like blowing off work. I'm an impatient sonofabitch.

It's good.  A little bit "shut up and play the hits", but it's good-good, not just "compared to the prequels"-good.

I never expected that Vader would step out of the shower on the Death Star after blowing up Yavin, and it turn out that everything else had just been a dream.

Eh?  Oh.  Spoiler alert.

I was skeptical about it working as a musical, but Harrison Ford really did a fantastic job with the closing number.

I'm not sure how it hasn't been mentioned yet but Chewbacca's tuba solo stole the show!

Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it

Me too.  This is the movie we were looking for.

PS. I saw it at the new iPic in River Oaks.  What a great place!  We'll worth the up charge, although, with free popcorn, it's pretty much the same cost as a regular theater.

At least the Brits weren't all on the wrong side this time.

Alec Guiness, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson (does N. Ireland count as a Brit?).

That's a pretty fair representation of the Empire on the light side of the force.  Hell, even the Ewoks were all Brits.

Good point (Kenny Baker is a Brit too).

Still, the Death Star was all Brits and Vader (body) was a Brit too.  So were Palpatine / Sidious and Count Dooku.

* Northern Ireland is Irish, but part of the UK.  Britain is the island.  This explanation can only be given in writing.
