With a loss in this series, the FTCs would hit 100 losses on the season.  I'd be okay with them hitting triple digits in losses...

I just opened this and all I say was Castro . . . 7 year extension signed.  It was deeply troubling.  All I could think was the Astros must have got him really cheap.

I want Harrell to knot his record at 11-11 and send the FTC to the century mark in losses. That would be awesome.

I'd love it. I'd love it if the A's swept them and then they got whacked by the Yankees. I'm tired of hearing my officemate's well-intentioned but still irritating jabber about the Rangers.

NYY and BAL are currently tied for the AL East Division championship.  BAL is playing TB, who still have a shot at the Wild Card.  NYY is playing BOS, who sported a lineup from 5-9 who have collectively hit .177 on the season. I trust Goold from the St. Louis Crap-Dispatch is moaning and wailing about 'competitive consequences' about no... FTC and FTC(o-ards). And while I'm at it, FYB!!!

Ordinarily, yeah, but this guy's sad tale of woe means I'll put up with it as long as he flings it. Plus, he's a really, really nice guy. I just have to try and tune it all out as best I can, and take quiet enjoyment when Feliz burns his arm up or Hamilton drinks too many Gatorades.

think major league and not reaching second.  he got up started walking as though he had been tagged.  he didn't even get close enough to be tagged by castro.

The throw beat him by several feet, so he slowed up and stopped, then walked back toward the dugout before the tag was applied. Castro had to walk after him to tag him.

Hard to be too upset about Romo throwing interceptions.

The one and only time it pisses me off is when he's trying to get the ball to Bryant. And of course in this case every turnover is likely to lead to points for you.

But yes, it is not hard to see the upside.

Or without you complaining about it. My universe is now in harmony.

Usually I just leave, but I'll be working tomorrow and Wednesday night and won't be able to see the games.

A harmonic universe is a good thing.

At least you'll have the satisfaction of being able to complain about it for a week.

But believe me, it is better to win with a shit score than put up huge numbers and lose.

I took a quick look at my team's output this morning, discovered that I was down 20 pts, but figured I was in good shape since my QB and kicker were apparently playing tonight, since they both had zeros. But as I was driving home it dawned on me that the San Diego placekicker probably wouldn't make an appearance in the Chicago-Dallas game tonight. When I got home I checked a little more carefully, and sure enough Kaeding didn't play yesterday because he hurt his knee in Friday's practice. FML.

I did see a guy in the middle of the road today selling small bags of Doritos. Other things you can always buy when sitting in traffic include cell phone covers and kitchen sized plastic trash bags.

It is really awesome - it can turn anything into a perfectly smooth puree/sauce/smoothie/soup. On the other hand, if you don't want to open up a Jamba Juice in your house, not sure it's worth $450 bucks.
