Coach, I'm deeply and profoundly saddened by this news. I take divorces somewhat hard, probably because I still can't believe it has happened twice to me. However, in your time of troubles, when all seems dark and hopeless, understand that you have a treasure trove of good friends both here and beyond on whom you can depend. I know you to be a very good friend to others, always willing to help someone out. I admire that about you. Always have. Now, it's time to rely a little on others, and that's okay, because it won't take long for you to be back in some semblance of good spirits. Love yourself. Take care of yourself. That's what is most important right now. The stuff is, well, stuff, and there will be more of it.

Extremely well-written; and while I am taking into account how difficult the subject matter is, I know it would have been a very good preview whatever the topic.

No one likes to see a friend hurting ... but you are one of the most mentally healthy people I know, and don't seem like the type who is going to beat himself up too much over this for very long. So I am not too worried you won't find your way back to the happy times and places.

But, like everyone else has said, you have my sympathy, and I am very sorry you are having to go through it.

This was probably the best description I've ever read about how a relationship can suddenly end. I wish I would have had that to read a few years ago during a rough break up to help me get past it. I think we've all felt that pain and I hope writing that helped ease some of yours.
