Downs up, FeMart on the 7-day concussion DL because of a concussion he suffered at OKC. That would explain a lot.

Did I miss seeing here somewhere that Jason Lane is now part of the Skeeters?

Not that I've seen. I just checked his AAA stats earlier this week or toward the end of last week. That was fast. Of course, he was getting tattooed in AAA. ERA of over 9.

I'm happy with Lyles's velocity now. 92-93 is a helluva lot better than the 89-90 he had last season.

It had to be something because he's looked like shit so far up here.

Supposedly he got hit in an AB and aggravated it after being called up by diving for a ball. That would explain why he was ok the first game and progressively worse in the subsequent games.

Another error in judgment by Altuve. Shitfuck. This is painful to watch. He's a real work in progress out in the field. That's, what, his eighth error at 2B already?

Yeah, but that one doesn't bother me (right now). He made a great play to stop that ball, and I like what that says about his ability. He made a bad decision to throw the ball (but he still could have been spared if Wallace had the sense to come off the bag), but hopefully he'll learn from that. "Good decisions come from experience. Experience comes from bad decisions." Or something like that.

I'll go ahead and say this: he's too erratic to play a position that requires a steady consistent hand.

The way that Ichabod Crane is going today, he probably has enough runs already to win this one.

I think he'll grow out of that. If our biggest problem in three years is Altuve's occasional blunder, we'll be in good shape.

The Rangers are in a funk right now. If you've got somebody you can start against them, you should do so. Of course, one of these days they'll break out in a big way, and you don't want your guy pitching against them on that day. Pretty helpful advice, huh?

Too big a risk. Had Cain been starting today, I'd have started him. But Vogelsong has been very good now for two seasons. Maybe Dave Righetti and Bruce Bochy really helped him out. He could be a middle of the rotation starter for just about every team in MLB right now.

What's that 86 mph thing he's throwing? The first one to Konerko should have gone to the moon, but after that the change of speeds has seemed effective.

What's that 86 mph thing he's throwing? The first one to Konerko should have gone to the moon, but after that the change of speeds has seemed effective.

That first one to Konerko I think was a floating spinning slider that he's lucky Konerko was taking. After that, his changeup and his slider was better.

Cruz looked pretty good early in the year. I think that he has hit the wall.

Fuck Ralph Nader. The only thing he's interested in publicizing is himself.

You're a little late coming to that realization, are you?

Nope, but JD and Brownie brought up that he'd filed a complaint with the Yankees because they have too many commercials in their broadcasts.

That'a actually funny. I thought that  he might be bitching about their broadcasters.
