The Center Fielder's a Nyjer!
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Schreefer bellyaches openly too much for a young player. He showed Bell up on two straight pitches.

How do you call a missed basket catch while running at the wall an error?!

Our official scorer is apparently either drunk or Hart slept with his sister.

It was, but Schreefer deserved it after he showed Bell up on the 3-1 call. That's what a yoing player gets for showing up a HPU.

Pretty sure Hart could've made a better throw if he'dve drop kicked the ball back in.

I haven't seen any Whataburger spots yet this season.

Third time through. What is Norris throwing? Game zone says slider, DoRay says curve.

It's a slider. Those dumbasses. I don't think that I've ever seen Bud throw a curveball.

Agreed. That call was worse than any call that Bell has made tonight.

What is it with our young kids? Maxwell just swung on a checked swing-he clearly went-and got rung up and he flipped the bat thinking that he had walked. Why do that? Smart veterans don't do that kind of shit to an umpire. They remember that kind of shit.

Nolan Ryan is throwing out the first pitch on Friday. I hope he is booed loudly and McLane fires his ass.

Did Hart date your sister?

My brother. NTTAWWT.

But seriously, he overran the ball so that he wound up having to make a more difficult catch than need be, and then it hit right in his glove (maybe it got some of the heel), and he dropped it. And it's not like he was bouncing off the wall while he was doing it.

I'm probably just getting crotchety as I get older, but I think the official scorers are getting softer.

Is Bud supposed to start imploding in this inning, or is it the next one?!?...

It hit him in the glove as he was running with his back to the field and getting pretty close to the fence.

Should it have been a catch? Probably. Would it have been a pretty great play if he'dve caught it? Also probably.

Bud finally broke out the changeup, and it was very good. He's up to eight strike outs through six frames, but he's around 100 pitches. Nevertheless, I see no reason why he can't go in the seventh.

DoRay are saying his new pitch is a game changer. Calling it a "spiked curve." Game Zone calls it a slider or alternatively, a change up.

Rizzo will have a ball with the fans if he shuts down Strasburg if they are in a pennant chase.

Bell's strike zone is expanding a little for Bud now in the seventh.

Bud throwing a cutter too in this inning. He must be experimenting a little with a big lead.

Bud works around a two out single to finish seven successful innings. He's probably done for the night.

For your entertainment... Jamie Moyer (.250) has a better OBP in 2012 than Albert Pujols (.247) does... AWESOMENESS!!!
