Phillies begging for RH bat

Bidding obviously starts with Dom Brown.  What else would we need to make a Pence deal worthwhile?
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

At least by joining Ryan Howard, Carlos wouldn't hear as many jokes about his weight.

I'd prefer a 3b.  I'm willing to wait for Altuve.

Beyond Brown, I'm not sure they have enough left to make that kind of deal.

We're going to need duct tape.  Lots and lots of duct tape.

The comments are unbelievable. I have a new appreciation for the word ingrate.

One aspiring GM suggested trading Oswalt to free up some money for a bat. Outstanding idea, sir. Say, if you traded Halladay and Lee you could end up with a veritable Murderer's Row.

I'm waiting for the Rays to throw their hands up about their outfielders and start shopping.

Brown, and either 1B Jon Singleton or RHP Jarred Cosart?

That's how the Giants won, right?  Traded all their pitching for great hitters?

Kirkjian on Baseball Tonight last night said Cleveland wants a RH batter who can play corner outfield.

I'd gladly take Carrasco off their hands.

As the Astros are currently only trading with the Phillies, how does this news help?

I remember when we only traded with the Mets for a long time.  That was a welcome relief from only trading with the Tigers/Padres.
