Golden Tee
« on: August 20, 2010, 11:16:35 am »
I have been drawn into a Golden Tee Challenge this afternoon.  Believe it or not, I am not a playa when it comes to that game, so any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Drink heavily, and avoid side bets.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

It's like bowling.  Beer will improve your performance.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Warning.  It appears that this game is highly addictive.  At the place I hang out at, there are 2 games and they are constantly busy with folks waiting.  Same folks day in, day out.  I tried it once and it's ok, but I ain't gonna play every day, hours a day.

We used to have one at the office (note the past tense). Productivity fell off the cliff.

Might be.  It's $3 Mexican beer day at the "course".

I used to be a video game addict, but I've grown out of it.  I've also seen too many ubernerds going at a Golden Tee machine like is was Scarlett Johannson in heat for me to be that unhip.

I once saw a guy, in Ron's Pub, playing Golden Tee whilst wearing a golf glove.  Don't know whether he used it for extra traction on the track ball, or if he used it to jerk himself off in the bathroom when he got too overheated.  That guy was so unhip it's amazing his legs didn't fall off.

Same at Little Woodrow's.  The folks hollar and scream like it's friggin Texas-OU.  Pitiful really.
