Does Pence know the job description of an outfielder?

Stepped away and (fortunately, I guess) missed that.  Care to opine?

Gunther clanked on a barehanded pickup attempt, leading to the run.

Zobrist hit one down the 1B line, it caromed off the wall, Pence sorta just stuck his bare hand out there, hoping that the wad of bubblegum he had stuffed in it would just magically lure the ball into his hand.  It rolled past him of course, and Pence just looked at his hand and then realized that it was just a hand and not a baseball.

No, embarrassing is being sent to AA while the team brings up someone who only bats .059.

I haven't watched, heard, nor followed a pitch of tonight's game but I wanted to throw this out there:

I went to get my haircut today and saw, for the first time (I think) a real live mobster getting a mani-pedi.   It was so horrifying that I may never sleep again.   This orca-fat Eye-talian chomping on an unlit cigar, with his oversized fat feet getting picked at by these poor Soviet women who I'm sure will never have sex again, and his nasty ass hands being buffed and plucked.

Sweet jesus it was nasty.

I've officially had enough of Feliz.

Been thinking lately that you might consider changing your moniker to Mr. Pissy.  (not that I've been any less grumpy lately...).

3 up, 3 down for Myers.  Footer making the point that pitchers took fielding practice today, and it paid off for Myers who's helped himself tonight.

Followed by 2 more.  Nice way to work the count on a tired pitcher.

Bourn doesn't qualify?

I agree that Mickey has a better chance than a closer on a team with no wins.  They typically fill up on starting pitching, and not take many relievers.

Nice work there guys! Especially liked the way Myers (and Lyons) battled tonight.

BTW, I won't get the postgame tonight, so if they have anything new or interesting to say about Roy I'd appreciate it if someone would post it.  Thanks !

Me too.

By the way, Roy, that's how you win a ball game when your team has a poor offense.

Exactly what I was thinking.  It's a much better strategy than committing an error and giving up a three-run dinger.

and then demanding a trade because his team won't make him a Champion.
