Great throw by Bourn from center to nail Schumacher at the plate, making up for Cash's sloppy passed ball that allowed the runner to get to 2nd.

That was a hit and run.  Cash has the responsibility to make contact.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

that hr shows just how great pence could be.  amazing that he has enough power to yank that over the fence.  still, you have to wonder why he's trying to pull a low and away slider.  holliday with the pathetic catch attempt.

Liked what I saw in the T7, but think Myers working out of trouble with the bases juiced, 3-0 count to Molina, in the 3rd(?) was the turning point of the game.  Great presence not to let the infield single and ball lost in the twilight break him.

Brett Myers once again goes 6 innings or more for the Good Guys.    He's definitely been a nice boost to the rotation so far.   Now the middle of the order needs to wake their bats up.

Just checked the GZ for the first time since watching the game last night, and I have to say the entire 7th inning was a thing of beauty.  Two pinch-hit RBI singles, the best situational bunt I've ever seen in my life, and Sampson shutting the door on Pooholes and WhateverthefucknicknamewegaveHolliday.  Awesomeness.
Don't think twice, it's alright.

When did the Astros acquire this Chris Sampson fellow?   He appears to be an above average pitcher with an outstanding ERA who, when not being blown out to prove a point by a cocksucking manager, seems to be good at his job.   I'm considering jumping on his bandwagon -- if you know what I mean.

If only there were a web page that could act as a reference for this particular baseball player... a web page with all of his statistics and transactional history.  If only somebody could sponser that web page... that would be a great way to join his bandwagon.

That would be really cool, wouldn't it? If you were able to find such a thing, and then sponsor it, you'd be free to display your message, say 255 characters or so and maybe an image, right? You could post something about some competitor who sucks and tried to steal business from you, or maybe something about a web site that is devoted to a baseball team but maybe isn't interested in gaining notorieity. The possibilities would be endless.

If you were interested in bandwagonry, of course.

Done.

Apparently the word "fart" triggered the baseball-reference word filters so my sponsorship is awaiting approval but should be up soon.

Respect the man.  I get tired of schooling you all.

I refuse to call this place SnS.   And in any case, it was OWA when I set up my account at baseball-reference; which is the real reason.

For fucks sake, could the owners/admins please change the name back?!?  An annoying yankee money-changer doesn't care for it.
