Iraq War Now Has Official End Date

The Iraqi Parliament ratified the SOFA with only one dissenting vote.  That agreement requires all coalition forces - every single one of those brave souls - to be out of Iraq by December 31, 2011.  The Iraqi Government, which was born and raised under the protection of the coalition, has grown up and is taking control of its own future.

This is a good day for all, IMHO.

That's the latest date for full troop withdrawal.  IIRC, Obama's plan was more accelerated than this.

Agreed. I supported the war and continue to do so. However, the country obviously wants out of it, and now the Iraqis do as well, so let's get out in an orderly fashion.
