Like, I'm sure, many of you, I was confused and disappointed that the Series Preview for the Rockies match-up wasn't posted on Friday.  However, at least you were spared the horror and embarrassment of being reminded on Saturday that it was your job to write it!

My sincere apologies folks.  I had completely forgotten it was my turn.

I did have a thought of writing an "Astros @ Rockies: "Oh Shit it's My Turn!" edition, but it would have been more sad and more lame than this apology.  So, in the time honored tradition of baseball authors, on the topic of the Astros and the Rockies, I shall simply say:

"Pass"

Limey, I've given this some thought and you definitely have some making up to do.  A good start would be by you taking a pre-emptive slumpbuster for the team.  With Arky.  Afterward, you two could cuddle and discuss proper spelling and drilling techniques.  For oil and otherwise.

A similar situation came up toward the end of last season, when Foghorn went on super-secret assignment and neglected a Series Preview he was supposed to write.  Something entirely unsolicited and unauthorized was thrown together at the last moment and posted.  It sucked, but at least we had something resembling a series preview.

If this comes up again and anyone wants to use it as a template, I'm fine with it.  You could pretty much cut out "Co-ards" and paste in whatever team the Astros are playing that series, and it would probably still work.  As a last resort, I mean.
