1, 2 Punch (out)
« on: August 21, 2007, 01:44:34 pm »
Just noticed that Brooks Conrad leads the PCL in K's w/128 and Cody Ransom is 2nd w/118.  That's some serious windage.

Charlton Jimerson struck out more than both of them combined!

I think Brooks is pressing because he's just stuck at Round Rock.  Jimerson is another story, I don't miss him at all.

Jimerson put up some impressive numbers for the Mariners' AA West Tennessee team this season, but has struggled since being promoted to AAA Tacoma:

The strikeouts, however, remain a constant.

23 homers in 322 at bats sure isn't bad.  Too bad knocking the tar out of the ball was never his problem.  I remember that homer Jimerson launched off of Hamels to break up Hamels' no hit bid.

Actually, at 117 K's in 322 AB's, it looks like they are *increasing* ... not "constant".
