Alkie and Foghorn make the BBG's laugh.  It helps to have a great sense of humor.  Alkie and Foggy that is, not necessarily the BBGs.

Is Foghorn still banished?

When the Astros made the decision to hire Garner I thought they could have made a better hire based on Pythagorean records. We?ve all learned that there is a lot more to managing than that.

No, shithead, YOU learned there is a lot more to managing than a bunch of numbers. Anyone with more intelligence than your average Red Sox center fielder already knew it.

That was Hudson's worst outing against an NL team since MAY NINTH.

How very un-Astro.

That may be one of my favorite postseason games now.  It ain't GameFive or anything, but that sure was satisfying.

Hudson didn't look good at all, but as everyone predicted we punished their bullpen. Really puts the pressure on Smoltz and Sosa, and whoever Cox trots out for game 4.

So if you're listening on radio, do you listen to the Astros broadcast w/ Milo or ESPN w/ John Franco?

I think I'd have to go with Milo for good luck, but with the TV also on, or an online scoring update open. So I could tell what the fuck is going on.

How'd you manage Milo? The Internet stream is way out of sync for me (too far behind).

Franco of all people scares me...especially today.

According to the douchebag ESPN analysts, Franco was the x-factor today. His lack of stretch on Bradley's chopper to Giles seems to have been crucial in the 5 run 8th.

Anybody got anything planned for the games? I'll be skipping out of work today, but don't have any fellow fans to hang with up here...

That is PRECISELY what I mean.

Unfortunately, I think this year's Jeff Bagwell is on the list.  Not good.

Don't forget Clemens.

Yeah, so, apparently he got hurt jumping around celebrating their clinch of the division with just a .500 record.

I once slept with Ryne Sandberg's wife in the clubhouse during a game.

Who is... any member of the Cubs in the late 80's?

Give me sluts that broke up the band for $400...

My old man shook Tommy Lasorda's hand at Sams Club on the Gulf Freeway in like 1987. He still talks about it. All the time.

An MRI showed one broken rib on his right side and the possibility of a second break. A Padres spokesman said the injury would take four to six weeks to heal.

I want to know who gave Mike Piazza a microphone. And thank the man who invented the mute button.

Its got to be better than his abortion of a dance/headbang/jerkoff that he did on the stage prior to the homerun derby.

Olbermann is a complete fucktard. He rode Dan Patrick's gravy train right off the rails (and that is not at complement to Dan), and now is a third rate mediot on a third rate network.

Fuck that guy.
