Jose Altuve sends one over the wall to make it 1-0 with one out in the first.
-
I know last night was only 1 out of 162, but I hate to lose winnable games, especially in JV start. Bases loaded in the 8th, first and second no outs in the 9th with top of the order up, runner at third one out infield back for Altuve. Altuve’s baserunning gaffe with two on.
We pissed the game away, and it bothers me way more than 21-7.
-
KC leadoff double, stranded at third. 1-0 Houston
-
Radio guys duly impressed by that catch to rob Tucker.

Astros strand Alvarez after a double. Still 1-0

Cole strands another leadoff double. 1-0 suddenly punchless Astros
-
Cole has given up leadoff doubles twice and twice he's kept them from scoring.
Let's get some runs for this guy.
-
Sounds like Tucker needs to eat a little spinach.

Warning track power tonight. Hard it but short of wall at at OFers.

Springer not hitting, Bregman not hitting, Brantley not playing
Punchless. Altuve watches one down the middle for K
1-0 middle 5. Dangerous game.

Sparks just educated Ford on the concept of flounder gigging.
-
Ad hoc strike zone.

Great play by 3B.robbed Yuli.
-
Let's see if their pen will cooperate.
-
Tucker narrowly missed a hit again?
-
Sounds like the play to get Jake was also excellent by 3B.
-
Cole’s pitching has been incendiary. Incendiary.

Broken bat bloop hit, TE2 on a SB attempt, ans Sac fly ties it.

-
The chance of Jake throwing out the runner was low, but he didn’t put himself in the best position to make it close.

C'mon Yordan! Drop one in the fountain. It's good luck.

Of course, Uncle Mike is hitting savant. Tucker is still trying to build a decent MLB resume, which is why it was noteworthy

He only looked surprised on one of them... which is something I remember bugging the hell out of me before.
-
Big, big win.

Toronto beat NY in extra.
Arlington sucks.

Oh, I was only talking about the 9th.

Just checked out the highlights.
Both teams with some nice plays in the field.
Favorite moment was Dozier standing on 3rd, confused, finally saying "he caught that?" as everyone ran off the field.
